RISK ASSESSMENT FOR ROUND AND ROUND PLAY SESSION
DESCRIPTION OF EVENT – The session is in three parts:
In the first part, a ball pond is assembled from soft play equipment and 2
big bag of balls. A performer plays in the pond with the children and adults.
There is tickling with socks, and finding of a teddy.
In the second part, a puppet joins in with the play, and a pretend tea party
is arranged. The puppet floats off on a lollipop and the performer brings
out large balls and hoops..
In the third part, the ball pond is tidied away using nets on sticks, bags
and buckets..
